Session 4: Scar Tissue, Pain, and Inflammation. Oh My!
Scar tissue is what the body creates and lays down to replace damaged tissue after an injury. Scar tissue is not as strong as normal healthy tissue, and can leave an injured area weakened and more susceptible to re-injury. Breaking up scar tissue through movement is one key to alleviating and reducing neck and back pain. In this session, Dr. Tiffany T. Butler will present well-known techniques that help to break up scar tissue, improve joint movement, and relieve pain.
This is the 4th session of our Back Pain Relief Series. At the end of the session, Dr. Butler will answer questions related to the topic of discussion.
