Flexibility Class

This class is designed to increase joint flexibility, increase range of motion, reduce muscle tightness and joint stiffness, and improve your posture. Flexibility helps to reduce your chances of injury as well as improve your ability to perform normal activities. We will start each class with dynamic stretches and finish with static stretching.  Maximum class size: 6 people.

Back pain is one of the reasons people miss work. Learn ways to reduce your risks of a back injury through muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility. This class is great for people of all ages, regardless of fitness level. Maximum class size: 6 people.

Meditation Class

During this meditation class, you will be guided to bring body awareness and breath into a space that will allow you the release of tension, negative energy, and other stresses; and to accept love, joy, and peace. Learn how to release past judgements, limitations, and expectations. Maximum class size: 6 people.

Dr. Butler’s Fitness Class

This class is a fitness class for families and friends. We encourage people of all fitness levels to attend. This class combines interval training and cardiovascular drills that is sure to give you a workout. We will warm up, perform a series of calisthenics, athletic drills, plyometrics, and we will end with a cool down stretch. Learn effective exercises that will get you in shape, lose weight, increase your stamina, and more! Maximum class size: 20 people.

  • Time(s): 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Fitness Level: Beginner to Intermediate
  • Age Requirement: 10+

Fee Per Class: 

  • $10 – Adults (18 years of age and older)
  • $5 – Teenagers (13 – 17 years of age)
  • $0 – Children (4 – 12 years of age)

Class Size:

  • Class size is limited to a first-come, first-reserved basis.
  • Each class has a maximum number of slots for participants to ensure that there is enough space to enjoy, have fun, without limitations and/or restrictions.
  • Early registration is highly recommended and encouraged.
  • If a class is full, you will be notified and are encouraged to sign-up for a future class day and time.

Class Location:

  • All classes will be held at (The Office) Harmonious Living Chiropractic: Fitness & Wellness Center located at 9418 Annapolis Road, Suite 100, Lanham, Maryland 20706 unless otherwise indicated.

Notices:

  • Waiver & Release of Liability: All participants must read and sign a waiver and release of liability document (or similar to this type of document) prior to participating in any fitness and/or wellness class when permitted. No exceptions.
  • Minor Participants: ALL Minor participants must be accompanied with an adult parent/legal guardian for the duration of the class.
  • Class Rules: All participants must read, sign and adhere to a set of Class Rules. This is to ensure the safety and welfare for all participants, including the instructors.
  • Right to Refuse and Deny: We reserve the to refuse and deny access to our classes (if the class is sold-out; if a participant is  in violate of class rules or does not meet age requirement to attend).
  • Class Schedule: The class schedule is subject to change based on the instructors availability. Notice of class change will be announced on Social Media and send via email to registered participants.
